Celebrate Independence Day with the City of Port Aransas Parks and Recreation at the annual 4th of July Celebration! From 4:00 PM to 10:00 PM at Fred Rhodes Memorial Pavilion, families and friends can enjoy an afternoon and evening of family fun, live music, and fireworks.
Festivities will kick off at 4:00 p.m. with free treats available for all attendees, while supplies last. From 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., enjoy live music that brings a lively atmosphere to the celebration. The night will wrap up with the City of Port Aransas Firework Show, lighting up the skies around 9-ish p.m. Bring your lawn chairs, blankets, patriotic spirit, and celebrate the red, white, and blue with the city!
Rooftop Fireworks at Sip Yard Port Aransas
Come out and enjoy an evening of live music and a beautiful fireworks display at Sip Yard Port Aransas. Clay Hollis will be on stage to provide entertainment after the fireworks. The Sip Yard has a large stage, wonderful drinks, and a variety of food options. Come check out this awesome new outside venue! The lower level is family-friendly, and the upper levels are 21 and up. No food or drink in or out. Pre-sale tickets and VIP rooftop tables available for purchase at sipyardporta.com. Cover Charges begin one hour before the show—no charge for 12 and under.
Fireworks Viewing @ the Boat Bar
Celebrate the 4th of July on the waterfront at Woody’s Last Stand at The Boat Bar and Jeremiah’s Boat Dock Grill. Bottom deck – general admission – $20 per ticket. VIP top deck – $150 full experience from 7 p.m. VIP ticket includes beer, wine, food, and VIP parking on Oleander & shuttle.
4th of July Freedom Crawl 250
Come thirsty and wear your patriotic attire to the 4th of July Freedom Crawl! The crawl will start and end at the Port Aransas VFW Post 8967. At the VFW, there will be a Poker Run, $20 per hand & 50/50 Drawing, Check in at 11 a.m. Route will be VFW, Red’s, Sip Yard, The Gaff, Shorty’s, & back to the VFW. Cash prizes for Best and Worst hand, and raffle at 5 p.m.
Free hot dogs to celebrate with. Live music by The Groove starting at 7. The VFW Post is open to the public.

Annual Mayor’s Big Bang Celebration
Drive a little over 30 minutes to Corpus Christi to experience the annual Mayor’s Big Bang Celebration. With America celebrating 250 years, this will be one of the largest 4th of celebrations on the Texas Gulf Coast. The celebrations will run from July 1st, 2026, to July 5, 2026. Main events include the annual Coastal Comida Fest (July 4th), where you’ll find several food trucks, a mobile gaming unit, a beer garden, a vendor market, face painting, and live music.
