Getting Here
For visitors outside of Texas, we suggest flying into Corpus Christi International Airport, a mere 50-minute drive from beautiful "Port A." All Texas locals can access Port Aransas from virtually anywhere in the state via a day's drive.
Activities
Port A is your beachfront vacation destination and island getaway. Come recharge life's batteries by sunbathing on our beautiful and calming white sandy beaches. Sight see. Bird watch (after all, 500 species of birds call Port Aransas home). Take a boat excursion (sail or motorboat), sunset cruise, or ride a horse along the shore. There is also excellent surfing.
For those that need get out on the town in order to relax, catch the free ferry and transport yourself to the mainland. Once on the off the boat, hop the trolley to the nearest club and dance your stresses away.
Fishing
If you're looking for incredible fishing, you've come to the right place. The deep blue waters of this Texas gulf offer blue marlin, sailfish, red snapper, tuna, trout and more. You may even catch a glimpse of a dolphin or two.
